Boulevard Express

Boulevard Express was formed in 2009 by musicians from the Holmesburg Bluegrass Jam in Philadelphia, PA. Terita Reeve, from Montgomery County, PA, leads the band on vocals and guitar, while her husband Mike Reeve plays mandolin and dobro. Rick Shryock, from Delaware County, PA, plays fiddle and sings back-up vocals, and Aaron Campbell, from Delaware County, PA, plays banjo and sings lead and back-up vocals. Matt Steck is on bass, and he hails from Maple Shade, NJ.

The band is best known for the traditional bluegrass music they play and their three-part harmonies, in addition to writing their own songs which are heavily influenced by traditional bluegrass.
Boulevard Express (BX for short) recently completed their first studio CD entitled “Come Outside” and are currently writing new material for their next CD as well as gearing up for a busy 2013 performance schedule.

Kingwood Fire Hall hosts fourth annual bluegrass concert

The fourth annual bluegrass concert featuring Louie Setzer & The Appalachian Mountain Boys and Mark Miklos & The Raritan Valley Ramblers will be held at 2 p.m. at Kingwood Fire Hall, 950 Route 519, Kingwood Township.

Admission is $15 for general admission, $12 for seniors, and free for 16 and under. Doors open at 1 p.m. Food and refreshments will be available. For more information or to purchase tickets, call 732-207-3270
